How to test a tweeter ?

    The topic says it all!

I removed my passanger tweeter because it wasn't working anymore...

    How can I test it ? I've got a multimeter :D

I would also like to test my crossover, how should I proceed ?

Waiting for a ASAP reply

Assuming that the crossover is a simple series capacitor, then you're not going to able to test it with a multimeter. You can test the tweeter (without the crossover) - the resistance shoud be around 4 ohms.

Another way is to test the tweeter and crossover together. Get a 1.5 volt battery and use it to drive the tweeter. When you make the connection, you should hear a click. You'll hear another click when you break the connection.
