    How many quarts are in a 2001 corolla automatic transmission

    I was able to drain about 3.3 quarts of dexron III fluid from the transmission pan. Does anyone know how many quarts there are total in a 2001 corolla with automatic transmission?

    3-speed auto:2.6+1.5 for differential.

    4-speed auto: 3.3 US qts

    (manual says these numbers are approximate)

    Probably twice that much if filling from dry.
