    yes..

    do they bounce now?

no? then dont bother.. but the struts won't last anyway, they're not designed for a lower ride height.

Just press on your car and see if the strut bouncy or not. If it's still good, it will only bounce once.

How long does stock suspension last

    Got a 94 corolla. Currently at 200700km.

how long you think my stock structs will last?

Would buying eibach pro kit springs blow up my already old struct.? (1inch drop)

Or will it just be bouncy cause my struct can't dampen the increased spring rate.

this question is not answerable, because we dont' know the current condition of your struts.

if you are doing the work yourself, just do springs and when the struts go, replace.

if you're paying a shop, do it all now.. save you $$$$$$$$$$$ on labor..

560 000kms on the original struts? I can believe the springs... but your factory OEM struts lasted 560 000kms?! wow man, just wow...

You might as well replace it all at once..I wouldn't want to take everything apart again just to replace the struts..if you can afford it, there's not really any reason to mess with it twice. :)

well, you have 200,000Km on the car right now. thats alot of miles, so I would definately replace the struts when you do the springs.

it don't bounce.... I am just afraid putting more stress on an old stuct will push it over the edge. so, i am guessing stuct it is... thanks.

Definitely replace the struts if you have that kind of mileage... my struts all started to go around 200 000 to 225 000kms, and that was with the stock springs

according to google, 200700 kilometers = 124709.198 miles

roughly stock struts can last to 150,000 miles. the lowering springs with higher spring rates will wear your struts at around twice the normal rate. i would recommend that you either get new stock struts, or upgrade to new aftermarket struts. this would be the best and correct way to approach it.

camber kit is usually recommended when the drop is 1.5 inches or more. if you want your tires to wear evenly this is a cheap modification. i have the eibach sportline springs (they advertise a 1.5 inch drop) with no camber kit. the wear is acceptable.

camber isn't that bad on the corollas..

if you want to adjust camber, pick up a set of ingalls bolts.. unless you want to overkill and get pillowball mounts lol.

Actually they are still good if they 'bounce' 2 to 2 and a 1/2 times.

well, thank you. i got my cold air intake from Duwayne of the C-Three Racing car club which i used to be part of.

i recently replaced the center piece with a more durable plastic piece and swapped the air filter for a Blitz "SUS" style cone filter.

mmm... i would have to disagree. if the car bounces more than once, in this case twice, it means that the struts or shocks are pretty worn. you can still drive on them. but a replacement is due.
