How hard is it to lay new carpet in a car? It doesn't seem that hard, but then again none of my projects have.. Can I just go pick some carpet I like and cut it and lay it, and put everyting back, or it there more to it than that?

I doubt that would work well. You would have to get one of the custom molded ones for your vehicle. My truck took the entire day (bench seat) a good challenge though. CW

how do you lay carpet? well first you take it to dinnner, then... yuck yuck! Yeah, unless the carpet is super thin and you plan on tacking it down every couple inches, it has to be molded. Not sure if you can like take regular carpet and soak it down, then place it over an empty chassis and let it dry with sandbags on top of it.. Not sure if carpet would have memory like that.

There's always steam to help it mold to the floor.
