HOW DO U RUN THE POWER CABLE THROUGH THE FIRE WALL?

i've installed my deck and ran the rca cables through the rear, now all i have to do is run the power through the firewall, Anyone know a way to get the wire through the firewall without cutting or drilling? And if not where would i have to cut/drill to get through the firewall..

    Any help would be appreciated

I put my power cable through the same grommet that the coolant lines going to the heater core go through. Just cut a slit in the grommet and shove the wire through.

If you ever want to replace the grommet, all you have to do is drain the coolant, remove the coolant lines and replace the grommet.

If you have an automatic you might be able to go trhough the firewall where the clutch cylinder is located in manuals.

It's been 4 months since I got the car, and I still didn't finish installing the sounds...
I ran the power wire from the trunk through under the rear seat, under the center console to right by the gas pedal.
But I still can't figure out how I can get through the fire wall...
I don't know where "grommet that the coolant lines going to the heater core go through" is.
    Can someone post a picture?
I'm trying to finish the power wire next week Saturday.

    OK. Here it is...

Don't put the power wire through the grommet with all the engine signals (red circle) - the electrical noise could cause some problems for the ECU. The heater core lines are cirled in green, Here's a closeup:

And the view from inside looking up:

    Thank you, thank you!
If I didn't see this picture, I would've run the write through the one in red circle.
I tried there once, but I gave up because the wires are so tight in there.

I can't wait until I try this next week Saturday!!

    Thank you again.

Just a couple of suggestions. First, you will have to cut a slit in the grommet to get the wire through. Second, it's almost impossible to get the wire through from the inside. Usually people start at the battery and work back. I would suggest running a piece of wire from the engine compartment into the car, then attach that to your power cable and pull it through the grommet.

Thank you again for the suggestion. Without that suggestion, I would've tried from inside, because I started the wire from the trunk and it's now by the gas pedal. I really can't wait until next Saturday! I hope I have time tomorrow...
