    3 options
    1) check to make sure that what you were told was true (it sounds pretty bogus to me)
    2) have them trued, and not tell anyone
    3) leave them as they are.

how much are u payin to resurface them? cuz i think for rotors which are just about $100 shipped i rather just buy new ones and be on the safe side. brembo's are $90 shipped on ebay, cross drilled and slotted, or u can buy my used Arospeed cross drilled/slotted for $40 :)

you can not resurface, cut or turn any slotted or drilled rotor, a standard drum/rotor lathe will not turn anything that isn't a solid rotor because the blade will get caught in the slots and/or holes. so if your rotor warped or extremely glazed, yopuhave to buy a new one. thereis no government law about that though is just mechnically impssioble to "hand turn" a CNC product.

You might want to check with a local machine shop...I have heard of people that "supposedly" resurface slotted/drilled rotors... Just remember not to use a very aggressive pad next time. Steer away from EBC products because they build a lot of excess heat that loves to warp rotors.

well the place that i went to (peerless auto in torrance) said that they COULD cut them but they would not have enough material left on them to meet that gov. specification.

so there. apparently most aftermarket cross drilled and slotted rotors are a one time use because after they wear down they can't be cut and re-used like a stock rotor

you can cut drilled or slotted ones as long as you make the spec.
