How Come There Are 2 Headers?

Hey I always forget to ask this: Why is there another header at the back of the engine? I replace the one at the front but doesnt give much perfomance gain.
Please tell me what the hell is that thing at the back with 4 pipes

    2ZZ headers are in back

and by the way don't feel bad because at first when I got my Corolla I asked myself the same question and then when I found out I was asking myself why the motor was backwards unlike the Honda ones and such...

Do you really need to take the engine out just to replace it?

no, leave your engine in. The intake runners are easy to get off with basic socket tools.
This question is definitely worth asking. I wondered the exact same thing once. ;)

who knows man we all mess up badly sometime in life dude.... well the key right now is that he knows what they are and such and to replace it back to how it was or otherwise you'll be screwed majorly

First time I looked at the 1ZZ-FE engine bay quick, I thought the header was in the front and was slightly perplexed by the header looking thing in the back, then I took a closer look and realized what was going on... but I could see how someone not too familiar with engines could confuse it...

Take some pictures of the part he installed on your engine in the front? And, well, if the mechanic didn't know that it wasn't a header (especially after taking it off and realizing where it was connected), i'd definitely keep my distance from him and his shop...

Dont worry I just installed the stock one and the one he installed is just a painted version of it and he took out the heatshield too, so what im going to do now is go to his shop and tell him to give me a free header and install, not a painted used intake manifold.

he told me its a DCsports Celica header that he custom made just to fit, **** HIM! + i wasnt even in the shop when he installed it I just left my Rolla in his shop and left off with my cuz in his IntegraR to the mall.
