    Horn

So who here changed their weak ass corolla horn?

Can someone recommend me some good ones? I prefer the ones that sound like the stock SUV horns...

I had a Hella Air Horn and it worked well. Only issue I had with it was when it got real real cold outside, it wouldn't work right.

i changed out the one on my rolla for a dual horn setup off a Cadillac Deville, the ones off the 06 Hybrid i bought were just changed recently for two off a 07 Honda Odyssey, (courtesy of the dealer since she wanted louder horns), my 00' Accord EX-V6 had the dual tone hella horns but yeah they do sound kind of german-ish.

01rollas, how did you install the horns from the Deville? Was there any custom work or fabrication required?

no its the same setup as the Rolla nothing diferent, one is setup in the front right under the hood next to he battery and the other is infront of the radioator but they are right next to each other, all i did was split the power cable.

How about those megaphone horns that you can actually project your voice into like the cops have. Of course it has preprogrammed horn sounds too. hehe

My friend had one is his car for a while until it was totaled. It was cool while it lasted though. He would scream obscenities at other people on the freeway if they cut him off or something. LOL

I've thought about getting one, but I would (most likely) never use it, and I'd have to find a place to put it as well...

I finally installed the horn, it was a b*tch to install but it is so loud.

it hurt my ear a lil bit when i honked the horn from outside the car.

my set up is similar to foundnotdeath's but a lil bit more spaced out

cool cool. i also have a tripple trumpet air horn that uses 120psi of air. it makes the hella horns sound like nothing.

I also have a police PA system so I can scream at people also :)
