Everyone I know (including all of my Honda owner friends) agree that the new Accord looks ugly. I guess, there might be people on the other side of the spectrum.

    Honda model designs getting weird???

After the disappointing looking premiere of Acura RL, here are some more pictures of the new Odyssey. I must comment, the only good looking cars in Honda line up are Acura TL, TSX and the current Honda Odyssey. The new Accord looks too ugly, the Honda Civic is too outdated and bland. Same with the Honda Pilot. There are some pictures of the Honda City as well, which I have seen in my trip to Asia. It is a smaller car than Civic for people with a much more modest budget.

Might I add, the City will compete against the Echo and most likely it will blow the market of the cheaply made Echo since I have seen both of them and Honda City is better hands down.

I would have to say the new accord looks real good imo. The Civic is alright, and the RSX is good looking, dunno what your talkin about. TL and TSX are ok I guess.

i think the new accord looks great except for it's length, the 2 door is just too long, but the bumpers both look good, lights, if i needed more trunk space i'd like it. but the odyssey? all vans are ugly imo, vans are for big families (4+ kids) and companies to transport things, they are not fashionable. the civic is just a boxier version of the corolla - which is why they're big competitors, they are so similar. and what is cheap about the echo?

I heared that hondas engine are getting harder and harder to mod. I think they are slipping away from their tuning abilities

Yeah the new K-series engines are closer to their performace peak from the factory, which was very unlike the B-series engines. I don't think the new civic will be quite the hit with tuners. With cars like the SRT-4, Evo and WRX, I think people would rather buy a used turbo car than a new shitbox N/A Civic with limited upgrade potential.

Then again... you could say that about my Corolla, so it's all relative. lol

    WHA!?!?!

dude, the K-series responds a lot better to mods than either the H or the F. an AEM V2 alone (an SRI, not a CAI) adds 15-20 hp alone. It is also a great platform for FI, even with the high compression ratio found in teh K20A2. I've got a friend with a greddy turbo kit running i think it's 9 psi, with an intercooler hitting 262 at the wheels, and that's considered weak compared to others running the same boost. K-series are extremely responsive to mods. Also, the potential for the K24A4 (i think that's the one in teh TSX) has yet to be tapped. If you look at in-depth reviews of the block, Honda put a ton of R&D into that thing, and then limited it a ton.

    :end rant:

back on topic, i gotta disagree. I like the look of the new civic, of course teh RSX, and i love what they've done with the enw headlight designs found on the TL, TSX, and on the new honda truck :D

hehe, i was driving to work and saw teh mule for that truck driving on the road, taht thing looks pretty nice
