    !!hole In Intake!!

There is a hole in my 92 corolla's intake. It looks factory. There aren't any vacuum lines around the hole that might look as if they were there. Need help and fast. The car runs normally. The hole is above the filter towards the driver.

    Thanx, The coroller

I used electrical tape and my gas mileage significantly suffered( wasted 1/2 a tank in 30 miles or so)

follow the harness from your distributor, should be taped together with another harness with a plastic plug like thing just hanging there.. someone prolly pulled it out and forgot to plug it back in.

intake air temp sensor. you should plug it or find that temp sensor. your bypassing your airfilter and prolly you might suck something you might not like.

besides that the AIT sensor help the ecu judge how much fuel to send, colder temp = less fuel, warmer = more. Your fuel economy would either be suffering, or your engine is leaned out.

Where and how would i get the ati sensor and to install it on to what. I have no clue. Where the ati sensor would connect on the engine.

It's your temp sensor, you should see somehwere on your engine compartment either hanging or loose, its a small cone shape plug. All you need is find that and plug it snug and you're good to go.
