    HID question

Is there a visible difference between the Luminous Flux of an HID ballast that is 3200 and one that is 3000?

Ballasts only supply power. They don't determine color temperature. The bulbs do that.

You have to get them through a distributor. Auto parts stores won't carry them. You can also get them online. They're probably close to 50 each. More for 50W variants.

    50 BUCKS FOR A 10000K BULB?

I paid 60 bucks for the whole dam kit. I just might as well buy another with my 10% coupon :D
I dont like having to wait to replace my parts...

You know that you have less than half the visibility of 4300K? You're only slightly brighter than stock halogens. And it's really hard to see at night and/or in the rain.

So the HID's defeat the purpose of having them. haha You can always change the bulbs out to a different color temperature later though.

I'm at 6000K right now, but with the projectors, the really blue area tends to stay on the outuside of the beam.
