    HELP!

ok I was driving along in a neighborhood and I decide to turn around. So I pull into his driveway with no problems, then when I back up I hear this loud scraping noise. So I go and park my car thinking it was just like the metal pieces under my car, and Its not! its the underside of my drivers side undebody spoiler thing! What do I do? I know its made out of plastic so it wont rust, But i also noticed like a clip thing that attatches it to the car has disconnected, Should I take it to toyota? is this covered in the warranty? ( worth a shot!)\
    Help!!!

I'd guess banging your skirt wouldn't be covered under warrenty, but you could drop the line "well I can't afford to fix it, and you don't want me driving around looking bad, bad press for you, so...".

    worth a shot...

actually that guy klepto had the same problem with his skirt falling off. Toyota wont fix it so he just got some clips and screws and sort of attached it permanent. that is the best option that you have to avoid loosing it or doing further damage if i understand right.

Im sure they have no problem doing what you ask them to do. But I bet they have no problem "asking you" for $20 per clip used, and $75 an hour for their lube guy to clip it on.

so let me get this straight, its very common so instead of fixing it, they will charge you 40 bux. just do it yourself man, it will be much better in the long run

hey even if you do let them fix it ask if you can watch, so if it ever happens again...

clips should be over-the-counter at Toyota.

I think I've seen a generic equivalent on those little red blister-pack "HELP" parts racks too.
