Engine help

    help

    well i started my car. i heard a pop. next thing you know, my engine is running rough. and i got a check engine light. i checked the oil, and it is ok. help, you guys got any ideas, and ya i know it isn't much info. the air coming out of my muffler is really "puffy" and my car shakes.

    if the gasket is blown the smoke will be different color, so check the exhaust color. try resetting hte ecu, pull the negative for however long it needs to be. 5 minutes i guess? i'm not sure.

    i'm guessing it's probably a gasket somewhere, but take it to a mechanic and have them look at it...that's your best bet

    well i found some water in my Spark plug holes. and i did try resetting my ECU, it works....for about 4 miles, and then is starts up again. i checked for blown gasket, no game. so i'll prolly just have to take it to a mechanic. i wish i had one of those check engine reader things.

    do you have a CAI or something like that? that could be the reason for the water.

    if not you may have gotten shitty gas, but you probably should take it to the mechanic to be safe

    water in spark plug hole NOT good. did your your car overheat?

    about 90k, and no it iddn't over heat. but the day it started doing it was REALLY hot. and as a side note, it isn't doing it anymore, and i can't get it to.. /shrug
