Thats cool, so let me get this right, with it open, your exhaust ends before the cat? And with it closed it works like normal exhaust? Or am i missing something.

HELP!!! Why is my car so silent!!!

Oh yeh thats righ I put the stock muffler back on it. Damn hate having no short term memory...

Hmm, speaking of short term memory, what in the world does this switch do???

I guess Ill push it down. WOAH! My cars loud again!!!!

Enough of the silly story. I got my cutout done yesterday. I admit it sounds like a lawn mower a lil bit, since its mounted right before the resonator, but at the same time it sounds mean and badass. Ive already got the heads turning, like ill be going the same speed as the person next to me (with it closed and silent), and I flip the switch. Heads turn to look whose making all the noise lol. Already been helpful with cops. Anyways heres a pic of it closed and then a pic of it open.

    lol stupid question..

of course.. as long as you get your car rolling before opening it, that is... no back pressure can kill your low end torque.. but top end is gonna rock with a cutout :)

It pulls just as hard as when i had my supertrapp on with no discs. Unfornutately its too hard to make it come open if you have a manual since you have to hold it down for like 3 seconds to have it come open all the way.

I have to admit it does sound a lil different (weird noise ha). I think the supertrapp sounded better wide open. But this does the same thing as the supertrapp, just is wayyyyy easier.

you can get them before the cat, but with my car i would need and o2 sensor bybass thingy, and I don't want to deal with that. Also, Im hoping that this will still pass emissions....pray.

but wait a sec-so that means that exhaust vapors and fumes will be spilling out right after the cat? and possibly burning the chassis? im confused...

its pointed so it shoots downwards and to the side. you can feel it at your feet with your feet if your standing there or just sitting with your feet out the car. Plus its Meant so you drive most of the time with it closed.

Wow dumps on a corolla... I can't say I've seen that before.
I'm curious as to why you did this mod.. are you a drag strip enthusiast?

I had a supertrapp originally and this is a lot easier to go from loud to quiet when I need to. No I have never gone to the track, probaly won't since the closest thing is an 1/8th and the closest 1/4 is 2 hours away. yes I need new tires in the rear. Changed the front at 28 k, left the rears on and its now 34 k. Will get summer tires shortly then when october comes ill replace the rears when i put my stock rims and tires back on.
