HELP! MY CAR WON'T TURN OFF

I was driving to minneapolis when my car was hit by a goose of some sort destorying my windshield. Ever since then I have this orange light lit up in my dashboard I checked this out in my manual it said something about "taking your car in to a toyota dealership".

So I thought nothing of it, and then when I got home, I took my key out of my car, and my car wouldnt turn off. (Yes i have a car starter), But I fail to see how a cracked windshield could cause this error light ot go on. Somebody help!

Maybe that little orange light is the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT and if your car wont turn off then i would say there is deffinately something wrong and i would take the books advise and take it either to the dealer or a mechanic. Since you hit a goose it probably wont be covered under waranty so thats why im saying you might want to take it to a different mechanic instead of the dealer.

have a window person install a new windshiled then thake it to the dealer they will never know what you hit. unless you got feathers in the grill and engine compartment.
