help me out with my starting problem

ok, i have been having trouble starting and i posted another thread about it. this is an update.
my problem is that sometimes it takes maybe 3-5 turns of the key to start my car sometimes..on the first key turn, it sounds like it wants to start, but then it dies and the starter turns. second and third are just like after the first one, meaning it just is the starter turning...then about the 4th turn, it starts up...

this happens all the time now. it used to only happen when it was very humid outside, but today it was very hot and dry outside and it did it all day. it's done it out of the blue several times before.

also, on hills, i've noticed something. on slight hills, i don't have to press the brakes anymore, i can just have it idle. (i have an automatic). on big inclines, my car wants to roll back.

i have changed my whole electrical system (distributor, distributor cap, rotor, wires, and spark plugs)

so, do i just have really badly clogged injectors? or do i have a leak in my fuel system, because it's not keeping pressure when the car is off and when the car is under load (hill)? the car seems to idle fine, it might be a little lower than normal, i haven't really noticed, what do you think?
i don't have a tachometer in my car, but i can hook one up tomorrow, also, i will be checking my timing. what is the proper idle once the car has warmed up? thanks so much!

i see 800-1200ish in my 98 after giving it about 5 mins of city driving

what you mean when you're on incline and it wants to roll back? my car does that all the time lol..

do you hear the click click click when you try to start the car? it could be a lot of things that's not allowing your car to start, fuel pump, fuel filter maybe dirty? check that sucker up, your intake manifold maybe messed up..

no, it's not like a click click click.
it's like it starts for half a second,, then the starter turns
second and third try the starter just turns
usually 4th try, the car will start, kinda rough of course

i noticed that my car rolls back on this large hill, it never rolled back before on the hill...only time it ever got close to rolling back was when my air conditioning would cycle and the rpms would drop for a second...but it would always hold strong on the hill...also, whenever i'm in reverse or drive, i need to press the gas a little more to start rolling
