Help me out- I need better music!

I have a question.
I work at Starbucks and I've been trying to crack the code to their cd's so I can put whatever I want on.
Here's the deal. Sneaky Starbucks uses a special cd player that displays the song name and playlist but it also only reads cd's that are sent to us from Corporate.
They have expiration dates and stop playing after expired! I took one home and found an ".AUD" file and a text file with the expiration and all the track names.
I can change the text file but I was wondering if anyone knows how to unstuff the ".AUD" file. Can you imagine The Darkness blaring in a Starbucks near you? Thanks y'all.

Well whatever format .AUD is, it obviously supports ID tagging/hashing. What happens when this "special" CD is insert into a PC? Most CD-ROM drives either auto-play or disc have a autoexec file that causes the CD-ROM to start spinning.

Here's a link to a "player" that seems capable of playing .aud files. I'd check it out. Incidentally, the company is called NICE Media... ironic, since encrypting music is not so nice...

I use PC's, so I'm not sure if those formats are compatible with a mac.
