HELP ASAP!!! 97 7afe DX 5-speed from Auto

To all that can help. I just did a 5 speed conversion on my 97 auto 7afe corolla. I jumped the two wires(black and white wires) at the trans so that the car will start, however, I would like to be able to start the car by using the clutch. I need help from someone who know what they are talking about. I tried cutting the wire on the E10 connector at the ECU pin 22 for the NSW, however the car still cranked! On the 98+ corollas there is a J9-J10 connector that you can splice the black and white wire to the clutch switch on, but on the 97 and below, no such thing. Please help. Anyone that has done this conversion on their 93-97 corolla, what wires do you mess with and where are they located to get the clutch pedal switch to work???????

    Thank you for your time!

do you have the sensor on your clutch pedal? Well I think once you have that I think you just hook up the black and black stripe wires to that I think. I could be wrong, but I just left it so I can just start it without pushing the clutch. I push the clutch anyways so that I don't get used to just starting it like an auto.

I have to find those wires, I am having trouble locating them in the car! I have been tracing wires all day! I will find them eventually, but it would be great to find a short cut!

That what is brigged under the hood, I figured it out though, I just ran it from the back of the ignition switch, it's working now!

having to use the clutch is just a simple switch on the floorboard... that when the clutch is depressed the switch closes the circuit & allows you to start the car. If you just loop those lines you can start the car w/o having to use the clutch. I would prefer that.
