    Hello,

    I recently purchased a 2000 Corolla and found these forums via @toyotanation looking for some info on Power Steering Pump replacement (mine just crapped out). I just got a Corolla (2000) with 170,000 miles and this was my first fix and in searching for this remedy I figured I'd join and hope to turn the grandmother mobile into something a bit more appealing. I've been reading @Macktasticks "99 Corolla Thread" all day pretty much and he's given me a lot of hope and many useful tips in his thread that I'll probably steal carry over to my car. I have so many questions but i'll creep in the shadows for a while. If you're into hip-hop (underground) feel free to hit me up.

    No pics yet fellas but I'll take some as soon as my new Power Steering pump gets here on monday and I get it installed (hope they sent the right one). Nope not a spammer, I do own a website and a forum and I know what a pain spammers can be.

    Thanks guys and love the ride Mack.

    The only thing I've done is replaced the tapedeck with an aftermarket stereo, I'm a cheapskate so I do everything on the lowest possible budget. Now that the deck is replaced with a crappy Pyle (usb/sd/aux) I plan on putting some equally crappy 3-way pyle speakers in the front and back as soon as I get ssome extra money. I really want to replace the rims with something slightly wider (or can I just get a wider tire?), right now im on stock steelies and I was driving in the rain and heavy wind and I felt like I was going to blow the F away and or hydroplane on the highway. If I get rims It'll be via some thief/crackhead from craigslist on the cheap, I assume any 4 lug rim will do? I've read somewhere wider tires might not so be good on the 2000 is there any truth to that? If so how wide can i go without causing a problem? I just want to feel a little safer, but if not ill just have to get used to it.

    I'm running a 205 tire on a 7 inch rim with zero issues, you can go wider with no worries.

    Well of the most active members that I listed, I consider all things. Mechanical, suspension, and body. I have one of the most visually modified cars, and milky and Irvin and James have more mechanical work done. And you if I remember correctly, with your ecu swap.
