Engine heat shield

    how much does this actually help with the short ram intake? does anyone know?

    Since you have the Weapon R I would say it's completely useless as I've seen the design and it points towards the back of the engine bay sucking in air next to the exhaust manifold. I've seen a guy who relocated his battery to the trunk then repositioned his WR intake to point toward the front of the car and the filter sits where the battery used to be. Now if you used a heat shield to isolate that area of the engine bay then it'll work out quite well IMO.
