    Headlight aiming

I'm trying to get a concensus on this. When looking at the engine compartment while standing in front of the vehicle, which way do you turn the adjuster knob on the back of the headlamp to bring the light up? Thanks.

Y not just aim the headlights at a wall, like a garage door, and tweak one, watch which direction the beam goes?

Because it seems to take too many turns to tell which way is goes. I don't want to possibly lose where it was stock by playing around.

it shouldnt be that hard to come back to where it was stock because when one goes out of allignment and you are close enough to the wall, 2-3 feet, you will see one being higher or lower than the other. if you have a garage, just do what my dad did, turn on ur lows and use a yard stick to draw a straight line through where they go and then for each line, makr a cross hair, and do the same for high's
then adjust and when ur done, see if you like your new setting better, if not bo back to the cross hair. i'll add a diagram so you can understand what i mean

the only thing is that he gets his car centered to if after a drive cuz we have a ball in the garage that marks how far up he goes, and he lined that up to his inside rear view mirror.
