The strength of the material and the grade of the steel determine the life of the header. Cheap metals or poor mixes will give you a short lasting header while better ones will give you longer life but you pay more.

NO. The item description is all wrong. It's a 4:1 header. You can see it for yourself.

i mailed jp performance if they got a header for me this is what they replied cant make head nor tail of this experts pleasee help

4-2-1) can work great. They really work if the primaries are 25-30 inches in length If you try and do it in the stock space it is so short that it will still act like a manifold were the exhaust pulsation can go up and push the intake stroke out

and it ll be a custom header

They're saying that it's too short to make a 4:2.1 header for the corolla. I would stick to 4:1.

I wouldn't trust DC for Toyotas. They deal with mostly Honda/Acura. Big aftermarket companies are lazy and don't post relevant pictures up with the descriptions. It's most likely 4:1. They just used a generic description. I would go with a different brand that actually shows you what you are going to buy. What year do you drive?

The 4:1 header is for mid-top range power. I love the one I have. The 4:2.1 is good for low end.

Don't get one custom made. Just buy one online. That will save you time and money and frustration.

When looking for a header, you want to get an equilength tubing header so that it will reduce backpressure to help push more exhaust out faster.
