MAN everyone here has become an ass!

It probably tricks your ecu to think there is colder or warmer air to change your a/f ratio... does it work maybe but It could possibly screw things up too

I wouldnt get it myself and dont recomend it

hey losx man, ya you were right, it tricks your engine to think that cold air is comming in, but the page said that its impossible to wreck your engine from it, here take a look and tell me what you think, ok?, thanks man, heres the link.

the link talks about a "chip" that's nothing more than a resistor. it's useless, and i'd avoid putting that in your car.

Those are just those 10 cent resistors on Radioshack. And the grill looks like the gutter mesh I bought and used from Home Depot for also a dollar.

so what if it does any tricking at all, as long as more hp comes out its golden. As long as it doesnt run too rich or lean and no damage done. PCM's are great for a lil extra bang infact most camaros and mustangs put it in after intake/exhaust mods.

if its just a lil resistor i wouldnt mess with it, if its a full pcm like jets or greddys i'd use it.

except that if your ecu is running rich all of the time, it will be confused by the rich mixture it's reading off the o2 sensors... you will clog your cat quicker (lowering hp) and ruin your o2 sensors quicker (aren't cheap)

thats why i said "as long as not rich or lean"... i never heard that before btw, that the cat could get clogged. cuz i thought its suppose to get hot enough to burn anything that goes through the engine, including emissions and gas.

not to be too rude, but nothing on there makes it sound all that much faster than stock..... maybe 2-3 tenths of a second in the 1/4 mile quicker..... and if anything, your stereo and bodykit have made the car heavier and slower

eh, 17's wont be the lightest rims on the market. maybe the lightest 17" rim on the market (even then i dont know) but if your really into speed and racing im pretty sure you would have 15" or 16" rims on there. Im sure some of these other guys know specs on which rims are really the lightest, but im pretty sure enkei f1's aren't them. however, if you want to know about meets, go down to the region specific forums and check out your state/region to see if anything is going on. :)

edit: oh and also, get your mesh at Home Depot. save your $$

just to let you know! toyotaspeed is right! you supercharger doesn't make you that much faster! and your body kit being lighter doesn't do much either! if you want some real power to come out of that engine you'll have to do alot more that just quick add on's! great start with the supercharger though! but it doesn't make you that much faster! 1 mis shift and a stock corolla will have you in a race!
I have heard of Huntsville before but I don't know where that is! I live in Oakville. I don't know if you know where that is! but we should meet up and race!

With a bad driver, anyone can beat anyone...I actually pulled on an '04 Mustang GT in the first half of a 1/4 run (trapped faster in 60', even on 330', faster in the 8th)..

Assuming equal drivers, a s/c Corolla would walk all over a n/a.

Toyotaspeed90 -- you're saying that a s/c is only good for two tenths? That's saying that my n/a wouldn't have any problem at all with an auto s/c..I don't think I could win..but heck, maybe I'd be surprised.

well like i said, light for 17's, not light as far as rims go. And i stick to my first post where if you were really about light body kit, speed and racing then you wouldn't have got 17's.

yo toyotaspeed, why would i spend 4500 including installation on a supercharger if its only a little better than stock!!! do you have a supercharger? have you driver a superchanged corolla? it improves the car soo much without destroying it, and my body kit is lighter than stock, thanks for trying to know everything, and my car is fast in a supercharged league, a turbo would eat it for sure. and blokkem my rpf1's are sooo light and sick, i can brag because i spent alot of money on those suckers lol.
yo lorolla, i live in huntsville ontario (small town) ill race ya if you have a sc, and dont be too sure bout addin me to your kill list if ya do, tell me bout your car tho dude, im interested in racin.

Isn't the TRD supercharger only really good for about 30-35%? And asuminghe's got all the bolt-on's for a 130hp car.... I'd say he had.... Roughly 170-174 HP?

Adge, What are your numbers like? Torque, Horse power, 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile 0-60.... Have you had it dyno'd?
