Halo Headlight Assembly Question

I was interested in buying some black housed halos from ebay, but was wondering if the bulbs are replaceable. and if it's possible to put a HID kit in it :shock:

i saw on ebay, the backing of the halos are covered and was just curious and a lil concerned.

most likely no, you'd have to do some modification to the wires that hold down the stock bulb because HID bulb has a fat outside and needs a different kind of pin to hold it in place... the kit that i bought did anyway, so i'm kinda stuck now with a $500 12000K purple HID kit and don't know how to install it....

I think these lights use regular stock.. no?

umm what kind of HID kit did you buy? if you bought a 9006 HID bulb kit everything should be plug and play. All the harnesses and wires should be able to connect. THe base is the same. I bought the CATZ 5100K HID kit and it was just plug and play.

oh and no, i havent purchased a HID kit yet, but plan on it soon...

so the 9006 HID kit will just replace the bulbs and harness in these lights??what i sthe price and will I have to get a set for both lows andd highs?/
