I worked out a deal with the dealers of APC. They are not going to official release these tail lights until next year. But they do have several made already for the first couple of shipments.

You wont find them anywhere, and I had to persuade the dealers from APC to even give me some to test. I for sure will have one, regardless of whatever or not this group buy succeeds.

But I was just going to ask, if you guys can gather 10 people, at least to get this. Its going to be 250$ US shipped. Yes its expensive, because they are 10x better than any altezzas out there.

What do they look like on the car after its been painted?



Of course, the white piece is smaller, thats just a rough photoshop sketch.

I have not confirmed the 'absolute' shipping date that it will arrive, but they told me, they already shipped 1 set to my house, and if i needed more, I better contact them a.s.a.p or else none of you guys would be able to get any sets until end of the year.

You couldnt have. They are not even out. Even if they are advertised on sites and stuff, they will reply you they are on back order or something

Because I am talking to the head of APC and he is telling me no one has gotten them yet. Only 3 out 20 distrubutors will get them for demo testing and stuff to see how this market goes

And one of those distributors, is a friend of mine and ive been talking to them too.

And correction of the price.. i listed out the canadian price. lol

its 250 US shipped. lol not 350!

Mabey one of the distributers sold the one he got as a demo? Because I know I have seen that exact light before.

i'll just wait, they'll get cheaper like the blackhousing headlights

Now THOSE are something I would actually buy................If I had $250. But those are really nice backlights, when I get money youll be hearing from me!

You know, I almost hate to say it.. but APC does make some good stuff. What I can't stand about them, is that they also do make a lot of cheap crap, as well as a lot of cliche' crap, and they seem to focus way too much on Honduhs.

I would be intrested in a group buy, is that just mean that we have more then once person buying it at once so the cost is better, like 12 people buy them at 250 each?

Yep they are. i called them last week (APC) cause they told me they woudl be done early June, but they are not if you were told a year. I might be able to get them from someone if he is able to get the first releases as well. I will have to see. APC must hate me i have been bugging them for weeks! :twisted:

Yea I am getting the first release of the shipments from APC.

All the demo ones... since they are not mass produced.

Thats why im asking if anyone wants them, I can order them. And the ones on the website will not have them yet =)

Are u supposed to paint them??? They are really cute, but what does the actually lights look like??? The lights look a lil too computerized. But if u do paint them, they would look more like the Lexus IS.
