    Grounding amp in the trunk

I understand that this is probably a newbie question, but does it matter where in the trunk I ground an amp to? Can I attach it to any random unpainted bolt, or is there a specific place that is recommended?

Also, I attempted to make an account on CarDomain.com so I could post some pictures. But they never emailed me my temporary password. Anyone ever had this happen? I tried again and now it tells me that my selected memebr ID is being used already. Which is true, it's being used by ME. But I have no password. Oh well.

Thanks in advance for you help.

Good luck trying to find a good grounding location. I've been trying to find onr for a whiile....maybe common sense is not working in my favor. I'm open for any ideas for a better mounting location in the trunk.

When you are grounding the amp make sure you scrap off any paint on the chassis to get a better ground. If you are grounding 2 or more amp in the same location, put the more powerful amp ground on the bottom closer to the chassis
