The most important thing about grounding wires is to use the proper gauge wires. can't be too thick nor too thin. and then many mfrs will cover the wire with certain things and say it protects well from this and that and show interesting graphs..

I am using Sun Auto's Hyper Ground Wires and the things I've experienced are better throttle responses, my tach is about 200rpm's higher when driving and slightly better gas mileage. no brighter head lights or more power, etc. On the other hand, using a voltage regulator with grounding wires will give all of the above. The only controversy is whether you want to spend that much money on just grounding or spend the money on other things..

    ground kit

anyone have a ground kit in their car? and if you do, did you notice any difference in fuel efficiency, hp, torque, and brighter headlights? thanks.

Unfortunately I do have both units working together and it was around 250 for both. It does make a difference though. Throttle response and a slight power increase were felt.

Its not hard at all to install. The hard part is finding a place to mount the box. The red/green flashing LED light is pretty cool. LOL

Well when it comes down to the cost to power ratio, its not worth it to overspend on this since it doesn't add significant power to make it worth it. I have the MR version and it does its job. You don't have to get the wires with it. The Hyper Ground System and the Hyper Voltage System will both work independently of each other. Having both though will increase its potential power gains.

Here's the site you can read up on them in more detail:

GT is the highest with the best performance. GT not only connects directly to the battery but also to the grounding wires while the MR just connects to the battery. LR = optimized for low to mid range rpm performance, MR = multi range and HR = mid to high rpm. MR is the most popular in that category. Eco , like rolla said is strictly for gas economy. And finally there is the new inazma pulse which is a more basic version of the MR (not as efficient) but with one grounding wire as well which helps with economy like the Eco. If you have the money, i would recommend the GT since it integrates with the grounding wires to work more efficiently. I used to sell Sun Auto products at my last job so I have pretty good knowledge on their products.. I can guarantee you will see a difference with Sun. In fact I think their voltage regulator is one of the best for the price. but I also have to admit that you can get cheaper grounding wires from other mfrs and get a very similar performance. The question you have to ask yourself is, Is it worth it?

hmmmm in the application guide I don't see new corollas, the list ends with 2002, does that mean that I can't hook my 2005 with the kit?

UP to the person. I feel its worth it. in fact, i've seen some websites selling it for cheaper sometimes. or if you do group buys, i've seen it for as low as 270. That was a year ago. Its really up to you.

\ These are basically universal except for ones that are specific for one car such as the Subaru WRX or Mitsu Evo.
