Explain.....instead of just throwing out an open ended statement like that. What do you base that on?

indeed - would like some info behind that comment...

--- please don't just throw something out there, be calm about it --- no one is attacking you, just curious to know where those feelings come from. :)

Yeah Losx.....not attacking ya. You usually have level headed responses anyways unlike many...just wondering why you feel that way.

Yeah, some say hes a moron because he was tempting fate by living with the bears, but I dont see how he did more harm than good. (other than maybe other people thinking they could do the same thing)

I think the guy had some screws loose...reminded me of Bob Ross in some of his commentary....

"Thank you for letting me love you" as he talks to the fox

i haven't seen it yet(will be watching it tonight), but there's a possibility that he made the bears comfortable around humans...which opens a huge can of worms for the bear population in that area. bears, when they become comfortable around people, tend to be less intimidated or more inflined to ignore humans who are trying to scare them away.

big deadly critter + humans usually = death/lots of pain for the humans...and then senseless killing of the big deadly critter and its family.

it's on tonight at 8 PM.

he had some screws lose well yeah thats definately true...

the reason I believe he did more harm than good was that he had these animals interacting with him which should not occur....

he was at a wildlife refuge or whatever its called... he was attempting to treat these bears as his little pet cat or pet dog. he thought of them as friends.

Naturally bears are afraid of humans and humans of bears... when you start interacting like that it starts breaking that line. He preached for the safety of the bears but ended up getting one killed.

I do not believe he should have been allowed to go there... studying them and watching them from a distance is fine but interacting with them like he did I believe caused more harm than good...
