    Gps

I need advice on what kind of GPS system I can get for my car. I don't want to get one that is built in the car like the kenwood or pioneer avic. I just need something portable that I can transfer from one car to another. Any recommendations?

yes I've thought about using my laptop as gps, but I need to get a 250 car desk to place that so I can keep my eye on the road. At that much money, its almost the same amount I will pay for a regular gps, I heared tom tom is good too. I've been reading alot about it and their reviews and it seems like a good investment
