Got T-Boned/Side-swipped; looking for new skirts.

    :(

Monday while doing errands during rush-hour (yeah, not the best time), somebody made a left-turn into my car. Now the bodyshop has my car to fix the entire left side, including front bumper and replacing rear rim.

Since they fix the car to origional condition, new skirts will be needed. I called a couple of Toyota dealers in the Toronto area, and they told me that doesn't matter who I am--bodyshop or individual--skirts can only be ordered for all 4-sides (front, back, sides) or none; no left side only, at a rough cost of CDN $1700 (the shop may get a break, as they have a Toyota-dealer partner).

As a result, I am contemplating just getting a completly different look of skirts. The bodyshop manager is cool with it, as long as it is similar or better quality (meaning no fiberglass, but urethane like the origional) since they guarantee the work for I forget how long, and as long as the price is close-to or cheaper.

So what skirts/body-kits are available now in urethane? I saw the main body kits thread, but for the most part they are all fiberglass. I am also looking for something in Canada or US East coast, so deliver is fast. If insurance finds out I ordered something from say California thats different than origional, they may not like it. Not that I care  but the insurance situation is very icy in Ontario.

BTW, I read about a material called ABS. What's that?

    Thanks for your help!

abs is plastic. or its talking about your brakes. I think our bumper is abs and urethane.

You dont have many options for a kit though if it must be the same or better quality as the original. I am not an expert enough to say which ones are witch though.
