    got a laser mouse

    this thing is pretty nice! no more skipping on my wood desk. the real test will be when I have to take it to a lanparty at somebody's house with an odd table surface like glass. but so far I luv it.

    it's a logitech mx400 laser.. got it for $32 at Circuit City

    in the fall I'll be on a campus so I'll have T1. just trying to get my computer fixed up and ready to go because the nearest (high quality) computer will store will be 200 miles..pick any direction, that or newegg

    whats the differece between optical mouse and laser mouse.. isn't it the same?? if it is i got it long time ago... its very useful for playing Counter Strike...

    they are not the same thing. they work the same yes, but the laser uses a focused beam instead of blurry light reflecting in to the lens. they just came out in the last year, I already had an old school optical mouse (Microsoft), and it performed poorly compared to this thing.

    so this gives a laser higher precision and accuracy because it can see every little pit in the surface.

    also my logitech has an infared laser, so you can't actually see any light.
