    Goodbye 1zz, Hello 2zz!

I just traded my 02 Corolla CE in for the fully loaded silver 03 Matrix XRS. The trix had only 10K on it and I couldn't pass it up. It's an auto (I'm to lazy to shift). ;) I am very impressed with the power, the only thing that sucks is now I have to buy premium gas

I will post some pics later.

LOL, my parnets hate manuals, thats the only reason why I had to get a auto
If I got a manual I would have to park it outside of my parnets neighboorhood and walk home. I just wish I got the car after I moved out

I would have got a Matrix XR with the 1ZZ engine since the 2ZZ GE engine in Matrix is not that useful because of the heavy weight and the auto transmission does not make things better. That is the reason auto tranny has been discontinued from the Matrix XRS since it did not torque the engine enough to make good use of the high rev power. Otherwise, a good alternative to Celica GT-S and to get a practical car that you can use for everyday driving and good fuel economy, but lots of on-demand power, Corolla XRS with a 6 speed manual transmission fits the bill perfectly since it weighs only 2600 lbs a tad more than an automatic Corolla S and over 200 lbs less than the Matrix XRS.

Toyota's market is lazy, fat, kids, soccer moms, and family people who don't care for making the A to B trip any more difficult than it already is...like puttin the car in 1st every time you gotta go again...

i dont mind the shifting....its the damn clutch. I dont mind stick at all if 1. Im racing 2. need to save gas 3. have someone in the car to keep my mind off the clutch foot work. The only way ill ever buy auto again is if my wife bitches me to get a family car cuz im pussy whipped.

LEKZ what makes no sense, my post about my parnets.

If that is it, my parnets are strange, and control freaks. SO if I bought the car a manual my first where going to hate for it and make me pay.
    Its a long story man

they only automatic i think i will ever buy is like a mini van or suv. other than that it will all be sticks. everyone should own one or at least be able to drive on. it can come in handy more times than you think. but the auto is much slower than the manual.
