Going to do something different with my rolla.

Ok guys I have finally decided after over a year what I'm doing with my rolla. To be perfectly honest, I'm getting a little tired of the "tuner" scene, where everyone wants to be different and unique but wind up doing the same things (bodykit,wheels,lowered,I.C.E.,and the basic engine mods). So what am I going to do with my 2002 rolla?.I am going to do a mini-inspired importcar.Thats right let the flaming begin:p .I am going to shave EVERYTHING on the car,put a sliding ragtop, drop it to the freakin ground on air,do a custom tweed interior with billet accessories and steering wheel, and who knows what from there.I want to be different,I want to be unique, but I still want to be accepted by the corolla community.:) .So,what do you all think?

if you do it, finish it. i'd advise you not to do it, but that only because it seems like nobody who starts these GIGANTIC projects ever finish. halfway thru, with a fully fucked up car, they sell and rebuy something and forget about it, because they didn't know how much work it was going to be.

Even if someone has done it before, he'd be the 2nd or 3rd, so still pretty unique nonetheless.

Nice, Personalization is what makes it fun. Atleast until your engine blows, but you won't have that problem with these safe mods :D

Yeah thanks everyone for the so far positive comments:) :) .I was really expecting to be crucify.Well so far I'm getting everything done on paper the car is still pretty stock except for the mods I had on when I posted pics of it awhile back. With my budget,I am figuring out what area to start first. My best friend is gonna polish the intake manifold for me plus my valve cover.Until I can piece together the air suspension I am gonna go with some lowering springs or coil-sleeves.Then I am gonna start on the interior.I want to do everything myself and with the help of my friends on this car so its gonna be a learning process for me.I'm gonna shave the headrests on both front and rear seats.I'm thinking of going with a grey and blue tweed interior(maybe some vinyl too).As for the outside its gonna be dark primer and steelies for awhile very soon.Keep the comments coming!

Well I decided not to shave the headrests on the stock seats because they would look retarded(why did toyota make the seat so wiiide?:superconf ).I might use seats from another car.I have been thinking about finding seats from a 93-97 Mazda MX-6.That was my first car and even though the V6 was a total POS the seats were awesome, almost like a racing seat. And yeah I'm gonna piece together the air kit instead of coil-overs.And my goal is doing the air kit for under 1k hopefully.Plus I'm gonna do the install myself(with help from friends of course). And again thanks for the positive comments on my project!!

Yes sir I agree with you.Thats why I'm not going to do it all superfast or half-***.Im going to do baby steps (air, simple exterior mods,etc.).Im going to do it one step at a time.Because I have seen too many cars that never get finished as well.

For getting the seats, you can use 00+ Celica seat, they're sooooooo nice and not expensive.
