Engine Generic SRI...

    Generic SRI...

    Alright, if you read my last post, you'll know that I'm fickle.

    Anyhow - the AEM CAI is gone, sold and I'm glad. However, I still have a generic e-bay SRI laying around. The filter that came with it is probably one of those $15 deals. Anyhow, I miss the sound and it didn't cause my engine to knock like the CAI. Do you all think if I bought a K&N cone filter for it, that I might actually see some slight power gains?

    dont know about any power gains from the K&N vs. standard ebay crap; but thats what i did on my setup- standard ebay short ram w/ K&N cone on the end- though i cant say i notice a power increase- i do feel better b/c i know its a quality filter- and it wont let the volume of dirt that standard ebay filters will let in
