1.56 to 1.71 for 87 in Ocala Florida. Amazing what driving 5 miles out of town makes in a price difference.

I just heard on the news that by July/August it will go even higher $3+ is what they predict.. since OPEC cut production in April to screw us all over during the summer.

DAMN OPEC.. I hate those guys!

(Now I wish I bough the Prius.. would have to wait 3 more months and pay another $7000 difference between the Corolla and it.) hmm.. $7000 buys ALOT of GAS! =)

I dont even pay attention to the prices anymore. I know its about 1.50 something for the cheap gas, which is 85 octane here in Wyo. 87 is a few cents higher but its still in the 1.50 range.

I remember when i first got my car, gas was 1.48 for 87 octane. And it would always cost me $16 bucks to fill up, hehe, those were the days.

i usually use chevron 91 and yes i know it doesnt do anything special for the car but i have notice better mpg when i do use it. I think i get 91 for about 1.70 around these parts

I hope gas prices swell up to $4 per gallon. That way I won't see any huge SUV's on the road... Even at $4/gallon I could affford to fill my tank. The typical SUV driver has a 16-30 gallon tank... No more Excursions on the road...

It's funny how nobody seems to mention these prices or talk about them on the news as to why they're so freakin high....between the Jews crying foul over "The Passion", and the media thinking that Americans are much more interested in 2 80 year old lesbians gettiing married in Timbuktoo (and hearing about every freakin gay marriage that takes place), there will never be any coverage on REAL issues that affect our daily lives.

Me too! Then I don't have to worry about being smashed by drivers that can't keep that huge SUV in it's lane.
