gas mileage sux and car runs rich........

i got a question to ask.........if anybody out there can aswer my question, i would greatly appreciate it..........well, here it is........my car guzzles ALOT of gas, i do alot of driving, and ive noticed a BIG difference in my gas mileage.....i dont know what my gas mileage is, so dont ask. all i know is that it went down drastically. i have a 2001 corolla motor in my '98, and the mods i have done on my car are a short ram intake, 2.25" piping w/o cat, and headers. i want to know what can i do to improve my gas mileage and stop the car from running rich or lean it up alittle..........also, what can i check to see if it will improve the gas mileage???? (i.e. MAF Sensor, throttle body cleaner, clean out intake, etc.) engine also burns up oil real quickly and i dont know why. i have to be checking the oil constantly and i also have to be adding oil too......what could i do to fix that problem?? or is it un-fixable??? i just want my car to run good and not have to worry about anything.........

    thanx everybody!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had the same problem when I add new headers to my car I had to unplug the ECU and plug it back in so the computer could pick it up, that fixed my car running rich. You also could have a bad temperature sending unit which can also may your car run rich.
