right... that's who it was. but turbokits.com is way more expensive. like they say, you get what you pay for (but incorrect fitment... lol). anyway, there was that site turbokits.com selling the turbo specialties, but i drive an 01. those were for 03-05.

CRUD.,.. they are selling the same kit... but the post i was reading saying that those kits were a hoax was waay old from 2004... maybe turbo specialities has their act together now.

I doubt it. They don't have any or much feedback(positive for that matter) for their kits. If you look at the picture of the kit they provide, you can see the manifold is poorly made. And the accessories are all universal and look cheap. I would say build a custom kit from the ground up. I know Monkey Wrench Racing sells a turbo manifold for the 1zz. And I can vouch on their quality. The question is will the manifold clear the firewall and allow enough room for the turbo.

They used to have the manifold listed but not anymore. You can still get one if you contact them though.

what is it about the kit that doenst fit? it's already been said that the manifold might be of poor quality, but what is it about the kit? if it's just the piping, then I'll just get it piped myself... and buy the parts one at a time.
or how else should i go custom?
