You bet they are! You said you are already 2 inches lower, well there aren't any struts that will tolerate lower than that.

I had cut springs on KYB's much lower than any sleeves would get you and did that for about a year or so. TERRIBLE ride, sometimes, depending on roads.

Cheap coilovers are just that... cheap. Spend around $800 and you'll never regret it, and if they last twice as long, well there you go.

I'd just hate for you to spend the $400 and get crappy coilovers that you hate and don't last, and then you are worse off then if you had just saved your money longer for the good stuff.

Guys, guys, guys... guys, guys... guys.... guys, guys, guys.... guys....... guys.... Its a fucking corolla guys, not a BMW, or Mercedes, or anything this guys gonna keep as a trophy car guys. Not forever anyways probably guys, so for now I think he can live with 400 dollar coilovers guys, until hes done with college guys and has a good job guys to afford better suspension guys or car guys.

Do you guys understand my explanation or do you require a demonstration?

Haha yeah but definitely some 15's first and hopefully drop my car again. the 2 inches from the spring just isn't enough.. especially if i go bigger on my wheels. and yes idk how i'd feel spending a third of my quarterly tuition of some coilovers for my first car... hahah

Hummer! You're the last person from whom I'd expect to hear the usual broke-Corolla-owner justification.
