    Fuel Upgrade For Turbo

...Ok now that I have it settled that I DO NOT need additional fuel injectors, and a fuel rail for those injectors, what do I need to supply the extra fuel? I've got e-manage, so Vortec FMU is out of the question

increase fuel pressure. that'll up the dc percentage and give you more fuel. grab a new fuel pump and start tuning. for a turbo app, you should be at 12:1. i found that the optimum a/f ratio on boosted cars...

If I remember correct, that was Super_Pilun - I'd just replace the stock fuel pump if I were you...

I haven't installed them yet. I got Power Enterprise for mine. Is the hum that noticable?

For my setup, I'm getting a 255 Walbro pump, adding a return line off my Stafford fuel rail, and putting a fuel pressure regulator in. I'm running 550cc injectors using my eManage.

Hey Derrick, how do your 550's run? just curious - mine had some wierd ass quirks at first... just curious if you ran into that and what your fix was.

The Walbro 255 sounds sweet... lol you turn down yur stereo you can hear the hum from your trunk... ya know that bish is rocking some pressure.

I think that the fuel pump hum would be really kewl.....so would the boost noise....but then thats what alot of people think about their exhaust then they are like dangit...I wish I could turn that down. The loud fuel pump could be a neat convo starter though....people would be like...what is that noise, and you would be like.....oh...that...thats just my fuel pump feeding my turbo-charged 4-bangin corolla...pardon me....I got a little excited...but really...is that hum noticeable...or do you have to listen for it? Vamp...what is that return for?

All you do is add a return line off the fuel rail, send it to a fuel pressure regulator, then run a hose all the was back to the fuel tank. I'll take pics when it's being done.
