You can use the ones off a Supra.

I don't think those fit Vamp. I've taken a look at them and they just don't appear to work in the 98-99 heads. I think that's a rumor that no one has tested.

Your best bet: Purchase a set from MWR (power enterprise 550cc)

Ah, well thanks for dispelling that rumor then. Yeah, looks like MWR is your best bet for 550cc's.

Sadly, I think it was Duwayne that first mentioned the Supra injector thing - a good chunk of the people just took off with that theory and ran with it. When I was looking for injectors last year I found that nothing but the skinny profile would fit, hence the PE injectors were the only ones I could find that would work.

Duwayne started that? I originially heard it was Cressida turbo injectors that would work, and I saw the Supra was the same engine, so I figured, Supra injectors. Lol.

Yes because your head will allow them in. Our injectors (98+ 1ZZ/2ZZ) are burrowed into the head pretty deep. The fat ass on 95% of the injectors won't clear it enough for you to get the tip down into the seal. You *HAVE* to use slim injectors.

^ You mean flow rate? Our injectors are weaksauce, off the top of my head they're 172cc.

Vortex.. so would the ZZ injectors fit A series fuel rails? I would like to use the set from power enterprise myself.

    cool! good stuff man.
well if it dosn't work I guess i'll go the cheaper router and go with dsm 450's.

BTW Toyota injectors are saturated not peak and hold correct?

    [edit]
Also found FC3S injectors would work well (on 4/7a at least :D )

I believe our plugs are oval? so 89-91's would be a nice find and direct swap.

What happens if you put 550cc injectors on a stock 1zz-fe non-boosted? Anything happen? Any gains or losses? I have a friend selling 550cc injectors and I would buy them if I had anything to gain.

don't quote me on sayin this, but i believe so.

You waste gas? hehe unless you have the need for extra fuel (ie more air to mix it with) then it does you no good.
