Engine fuel filter

    if its anything like the 2001 corolla, i dont think you need to replace it. with the corolla its 97 and before that you have to change it.

    fuel filter

    2002 chevy prizm
    at 130,000 miles is replacing the fuel filter recommended? Where is it and how can I change it?

    the 'filter' is actually just a strainer in the tank on the pump itself... those to tend to build up varnish eventually... but if you are having problems i would look at the pressure regulator or a bad injector or pump first then the strainer... good news is that they are cheaper then filters if you need to replace it.
