    Front Wheel Manual trans performance

I'm wondering if there is a difference in performance between a front wheel drive and rear wheel drive corollas. I've got a frontwheel manual. Could it easily compete with a rear wheel drive manual corolla? What do most people preferr when needing performace?

actually my ae92 still can take my mr2..... granted, the ae92 has a smallport where the mr2 has a bigport.... but the mr2 is stripped and the ae92 isn't.... both use the same transmission as well.... ae92 is FWD and the mr2 is RWD
