Front Strut Bar 03+ - Interested?

    Hey Guys,

I made a custom front strut bar for my 05 S and thought that others might be interested in it instead of the EBay or TRD Bars.

For those of you who dont really know what a strut bar does, it is a bar that stiffens the front end of the chassis. It bolts to the top of the front strut tower in the engine bay with either 1 or 2 bolts on each side (depending on the model). Best way I have heard it explained is 'Picture an open shoe box, it can twist easily. Put a reinforcement across the open area and it will be alot stiffer'.

I used some 7/8 4130 .0651 wall tubing. I am going to produce two different models:
Type A will mount to only one bolt on each strut tower like so (pardon the dirty engine:(

Type B will mount to two bolts on each tower like so:

I made the Type B for myself and is currently at the powder coaters getting a steel grey finish put on it (which I will put on all of them).Once I get the price from him and order some more steel, I will be able to give you guys a definate price for these.

If your interested or have any questions, feel free to post in here or email me at CLMorrison83@comcast.net.

    Thanks,

    Chris

lol, looks like you took the rear stock sway bar out, painted it and bolted it onto the front strut towers.

Can you make some sway bar instead? I'm more interested in sway bar more than strut bar since you can get a strut bar real cheap on ebay. :D
