Found a Turbo Kit, now to purchase :)

    http://www.turbo-kits.com/corolla_turbo_kits.html

Lots of people say these kits are not any good but I went though the parts list and everything on this kit looks to be high quality and the fuel management system that comes with it is pretty decent too. Not to mention they have a picture on there website of the kit actually installed on a 1zzfe.

I'm going to :) I just need to wait for my bonus check next month and then Cha-Ching this thing will be on its way :) Right now I need to finish installing my new racing seats because I'm pissed off at my broken drivers seat. I got the steal today to fab the brackets but I still have a lot of work to do. Seats now, Turbo later.

All I know is that I don't have turbo and I want turbo. I wish someone would just write up a DIY for turboing a corolla with a parts manifest and cad drawing for the pipeing and bends that could be sent to emachineshop.com so we could all just do our own turbo kits without having to spend 10 trillion dollars and buy a shit load of tools we'll never use again :)

Well, that's basically the whole idea behind the Phoenix Tuning kits, if you look into it you'll find that just putting all the parts together comes to about the same price.

There are two things that will get the kits out faster, and if someone wants to help me with them then great: 1. Investment (I don't have the cash lying around to buy a bunch of turbo parts) and 2. A test car (I have a Celica here that can be the 4AFE test car, but I need a 1ZZFE test car, and a 4AFE Corolla).

And anyone that can help with this will get a significant discount on the kits. A lot of engineering is going into this project, it's going to take a while, get a lot of testing, and when it's done it's going to be a very high quality kit.

If you do enough searching around and reading on the various forums you can learn a lot. Head on over to www.6gc.net and check out the how-to section, they have details on how to turbo a 7AFE and a 5SFE, reading both will learn you a lot :D

Or ask any questions at all, that's one of the most notorious forums on the internet. The majority of the people on there are a bunch of Honda-loving kids who haven't done any more than an intake and think they're experts on turbocharging, and flame anyone new that shows up.

In fact a couple weeks ago they started this thread against NET and a whole bunch of them went over to NET and registered and started posting all kinds of crap all over the forum. Thankfully the admin was on and took care of it right off.

Did you see my thread on there a few months back?
