i seriously doubt that, many have tried and many have failed. This is why I'm not a fan of Xbox. Why can't they just creat there own hit and stop trying to emulate everything sony does, back when GT one 1st came one, Sony didnt say, "let's make a racing game better than......" instead they made the single best racing sim ever. Microsoft is a follower when it comes to racing IMO

Have to agree with that...the only racing series that the Xbox can boast is the Colin Mcrae Rally series, since Sony stopped carrying it. Its the best rally series out there and its only on Xbox, it blows the GT4 rally portion out of the water.

haven't seen the game yet, though some folks are claiming it's better than GT4...

well i dont think microsoft is trying to emulate sony and gran turismo.its just that this is their attempt to making another racing sim for the xbox and it turns out that its their best so thats why theres this whole debate over gt4 and forza.

sony made some good stuff with gran turismo but it doesnt claim the genre to the point where any other race sim is just a follower. thats fanboy talk

umm try the online play on forza and ull be hooked. nothing like it out there.

yea i am sort of biased but even so.....Sony can back it up, i mean last i heard on the G4 channel the game is being called the first interactive automobile encyclopedia that's some major stuff, the only thing that would've gave the game a perfect in my book was online play and damage on the cars. Other than that the game is flaw-less in mine and some other zillion peoples books hehe

I'm 30% through GT4 and can honestly say, there has yet to be a time when I am not totally impressed with the game.

That being said, not having online play is the BIGGEST mistake polyphony has made since GT2 and it's 98% completion. I am waiting for my Xbox friends to buy forza so I can have a look.

theres damage in forza

the only thing about car games is damage.. none of the games i play incorperate damage into a game.. with that the games becomes ten times harder

Play Colin Mcrae Rally 2005 with realistic damage on Career mode.

When I do that drunk my car will make it to the end of a stage with the engine cutting out, and almost every single panel of the car missing.....

i know but with most racing games there is none they should put it in all of the games

the burnout series is the best because you can just take your car down and wreck everything.. the only nascar game that i have played was daytona 500 back on the old sega saturn and even that had damage in it

Well i hAve to say that forza does beet gt4. I dident think it could happen but i did. Well i love forze just got it today and i have been playing non-stop. If any one out there thinks they can take me on with me subaru sti c then give me a massege at kto d3athd3al3r or dynisty xtreme. Bring it.

its gay... gt4 is way better... the thing that i like is eng swap n body kit.. thats like the only good thing in it .... handling suck n forza

well i guess you could say that if you have a shity car and excpect to be good at a game right when it comes out. Me on the other hand, i love the game. The handleing is the most realistic in any car game i have seen from the understeer in fwd cars to the oversteer in rwd cars it is an awsome game. I give it a 10+

imho, forza is better than gt4 in almost every way except for the graphics (reflection sucked). to me it felt much more realistic. i have a modded rx-7 and pretty much can drift all the turns in the Maple track (think it's #1, not #2)... yea, including the first wide one.
