    Fog light color...

...for those that have them, what color is your light output? I'm using Osram All Season and enjoy nice yellow light that is not only very functional, but also looks great w/the SilverStars...especially in heavy rain or fog.

    bulbs ?

YeYe, so what bulbs do you have for low beams and fogs ?...Factory OEM ?...I've upgraded mine with the PIaa's but notice nothing significant.

xflywonthanhx, any pics on your fogs, sounds like a good idea to put the Piaa Ions..

Syndicate, how do you like the Silverstars, I've put them on my Camry, replacing the Piaas, don't really notice a significant difference...someone is selling these Xenon type bulbs that would fit the low beams, I'm going to check them out, and see if its any brighter.

    One post for 3 people.

    thanxs,

    Harvey.

yeah xflywonthanhx, i wonder how Piaa H3 yellow bulbs are gonna look like on our 03 Corolla as well
would you like take a pic and show us please :D
    thanks in advance

yeye, i agree with you too
many people ask if i upgraded the fog light bulb and why it is so white lol

it would be hela nice if i put a Piaa Xtreme white on top and Piaa Yellow on fog
so it ends up looking more like a IS300 haha

PS: is silverstar also good brand? i m still considering whether i should pick Piaa or silverstar
any suggestion on which 1 is better

...I really like the Silverstars, they are very white w/o a hint of another color at night (during the day they can appear to have a purplish blue tint), the 9005 high beam Silverstar is even more impressive.

Alpha-vvti, the Silverstars are produced by Osram Sylvania (just Sylvania in N.America) and they are the largest producers of OEM lights. The 9006, 9005, H3, and all the other bulbs in the Corolla are made by Osram Sylvania.

...I wish I had a pic of the Silverstars and All Seasons together, your best bet for now is to watch the video of Seneca Park meet at vvti.net and look for the only '03 (that's me), I have my headlights and fog lights on, but the color on video didn't come out that well.

    so you got this right
    http://orderxenarc.sylvania.com/ord...-AC1B-4346-8E41-2C928C086CD3}&NC=419200344931
i am now considering silverstars, coz even if i got a Piaa
the day saving whatever light is going to be on anyways and my bulbs wont last logn :?
(silverstarts are only like $20 in Kregan)
and becoz of the fact that all the other bulbs in the Corolla are made by Osram Sylvania, so i might just go with that
but what about the performance comparing Piaa & Silverstar
btw, i couldnt find the video you were talkin about on vvti.net
hmm... have they been deleted it already?

...yeah, I have the Silverstars in both the low beams and high beams. The Silverstars are just as white if not whiter than the PIAA Xtreme white and they don't have the tint of the other PIAA bulbs.

...it's easy to change the low beam bulbs, it shouldn't take more tham 15 minutes, the high beam bulbs are a little more difficult b/c access tot eh driver's side bulb is blocked by the battery and factory intake snorkel.

wassup, rollaz... i gotta "?"... i bought Eurolite Xenon Super Plasma bulbs for my lows and Eurolite Xenon Fusion bulbs for my highs... the Super Plasma has a slight purple tint on the bulb and the Fusions have a blue tint... they work awesome... i see all these aftermarket bulbs that say "HID"... i knoe HIDs burn another type of gas and not halogen gas... are these bulbs really burning Xenon gas? because i really don't see a difference in the daytime.... cars with real HIDs really burn blue or white day or night... not my bulbs... they look yellow to me in da day, but white at night... wuts da difference between the bulbs that say "HID", which have blue tints, and the Xenons that have blue tints also... feedback please...

...don't try to pull the bulb out or you'll break something. The L-shaped bulb connector and actual bulb rotate clockwise (to the left), after the unit turns the notches will line up and the bulb can be safely removed. Once the bulb is out of the headlight you can remove it from the socket by depressing the tab looking notch (which is very small) that holding the bulb in place between the split plastic thing (I don't know the name for it sorry). Now the bulb will simply slide out, install the new bulbs and ensure that they snap/lock into place. Line up the notches on the headlight assembly w/the light and reinstall the bulb, turn counter clockwise to lock the bulb back into position (which is the L-shaped socket attachment facing downwards). Hope this helps.

if you are going to be changing th bulbs I recomend that you move the intake snormel to the lower section of the car while you are there. You will need to take the battery off anyway or you just wont get to the one bulb. so while it is off you can use my DIY that I havnt wrote yet for moving the intake snormel. Then anytime tou need to cxhange the lights after that you will just need a small hand and it will fit in the space withought doing anything.

For the record I ran 110w that look like 150W bulbs on my rolla for a few months. It ended up blowing out the DRL relay and I lost ALL my lights. I got it repaired (put the stock bulbs back in) and then I ranb a relay to the regular bulbs to never have that problem again. The bulbs lasted about 3 months at a time, but now that I dissabled my DRL's I expect them to last longer. AND BOY do they light up the road!!

Got em off Ebay, they are the FX type bulbs and they have the highest Kalvin rating I have seen on NON HID bulbs. they where I beleive 5,000K or 5,400K. either way most PIAA and sylvania ones are only 4,000 or 4,500 so they arent much brighter than stock.
