    flowmaster + tip= GOOD?!@#$

    Hello everyone:
I am tired of my bomb muffler and looking for new one. I just need more people to tell me that flowmaster + tip will work and not too loud (then I'll go for it with confident :D) ... Thank you guys- drive safely.

umm flowmaster imo only sounds good on a domestic car with decent power. i don't think they sound good on imports.

i recently bought a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler hoping that it would be quieter....boy was i wrong...hehe....anyway...it is just the muffler and tip.

although it's just as loud, it seems to be only loud during low rpm's or under strain...as in...going up a hill or something like that....high rpms, it doesn't sound as loud. great tone, tho....

as far as the flowmaster goes....prizmatic has one on his prizm. you may try p.m.ing him. my dad (auto mechanic) seems to think that it would sound fairly similar to a straight thru muffler....the flowmaster's, tho, have the baffles on the inside, so it might just sound a lil less buzzy.

Yeah, I have a Flowmaster on my Camaro but I'd never put one on my Corolla. Mike4831 is right... they only sound good on domestics.

I have an 04 LE with a Flowmaster muffler. Nice, deep tone. No buzzing. Not very loud (but definitely noticable) unless WOT and even then just loud enough to put a grin on your face. I was told the same thing about putting one on my car but the price was right and I have never regretted it since. Basically, it is an all around refined tone that gives you that nice growl without sounding like a ricer. But that's just my opinion. ;)
