    M cars have a yellow light along the outer rim of the tach that lets you know how high you can rev the engine when you first start the car up. As the engine heats up, more lights around the tach light up to let you know you can rev higher until the car is fully warmed up. Pretty cool shit.

    i guess that keeps your engine safe. they might as well set a rev limiter to prevent u from fucking up ur engine during closed loop then.
