Yeah one wrecked in february and it was on Dateline or one of those shows. The guy driving it was doing 160mph on impact and the car was split in half by a telephone pole. I'm surprised he survived.

    Thats crazy!

I remember a story my boy told me when he took a driving defense course when his license got suspended. The instructor says that one day a lady JUST purchased a ferrari and she was on one of hte highways around here and she got it to 160mph. When the cop saw her he went into pursuit. she later pulled over and as the cop was coming up to her she threw the keys out the window into the highway. when the cop asked why she did that, she said she was mad cause the dealership lied to her. The cop had a puzzled look on his face and he asked for clarification and she said that the dealership said she can get up to 180mph and she only got to 160. lmfao.

needless to say she wasn't driving for a while. lol.

i think a little more than that --- less than 500 though, however only about 100 meet US specs.

I think it was 399 or 499, can't remember, but it was definitely more than 299. BTW... I think Ferrari's whole practice of "building one less car than demand warrants" is kinda stupid. I don't think the value of the cars will be significantly greater because there are 399 instead of 400 built.
