eye lids

eye lids

hey guys i am trying so hard to find some eye lids for my head lights you know those carbon fibre or plastic lids that give your lights a more aggressive look but i cannot find any here in aus

i dont think eyelids are availble yet...ive tried so hard to look for them.

however i did make my own...it looks decent but doesn't block out the headlight when the lights are on. They still do look nice though...

i used cabinet lining vinyl that you can get at walmart that comes in a really long roll for about 5 bux...i traced the headlight unit and see how i wanted to cut it...measurement after measurement and finally cutting it...[/img]

ill take some pics for you tomorrow...however the problem is...the cabinet lining vinyl comes in white ahaha...so if u wanted to spary paint it you could, but im not sure how that will come out.

You'll notice that the model car has silver eyelids. I don't know how they made them or from what material, but you might just want to call them and find out. Also notice that they have covers for the taillights as well. Combined with the full red-lense taillights, I think it looks hot. Sorta like an IS 300.
